Where's the rest of me?

I look down at my toes, they're 50 feet away. Several people have come to my rescue only to drown themselves. For days I've sat in my heated garage laboring over my headless body, comparing html, old and new, prebanner and postbanner. Finally I gave up. Then I checked Blogger for known issues. Turns out they created the problem. All I had to do was disable a new feature in settings. So I turned it off, republished, and, as you can see, my body is still down at the bottom of the well. Fortunately, my head's still safe in the clouds.
